JULY 2021
We are up and running – as fast as we can. The shortage of staff continues to be a difficult issue for us, and we have had to close for a few Wednesdays. If nothing changes, that is what we will do for as long as we need.

UNFORTUNATELY, WE ARE UNABLE TO TAKE RESERVATIONS and might be unable to accommodate larger groups that request large tables, we might need to split groups up to a few smaller tables, due to the fact that seating is still somewhat limited, and wait times get extended when the kitchen is preparing for larger tables.

At this time we only serve on a first-come basis. You are welcome to put your name on the waitlist if we are full, tables turn pretty quick, so your wait might just be a short stroll along the river.

We are also not doing any off-site catering in the summer, as staffing is very limited. Please send us an email in regards to any inquiries for other dates to events@enjoyfernie.com

We apologize for any inconvenience this might have on your visit.
We look forward to serving you soon
Have a wonderful summer

Here, from the Bridge Bistro in Fernie, BC ; We THANK YOU! We thank you for your support of our restaurant. It has been a busy summer and fall, and it went well. We took many precausions, our staff worked hard to make it a great experience for all, even with all the restrictions and extra work set out for them (and our guests).

We appreciate that you followed our protocols and were kind to our staff.

Now, with the new Provincial Health Order in place, we continue to strive to make it a good experience for all, guests and staff. It is not easy for anyone, but together we will do it, eventually we hope to go back to the “Normal before COVID” .

We will stay open from 9 am – 9 pm at this time, so you can visit us with your close pod / family. We are still using serving tables for extra caution, and masks are now mandatory as you enter, move around and leave the restaurant.

We are paying close attention to any changes in protocols or in the local environment. We are working on setting up online ordering for take out, eventually we will do delivery, but for now, only pick up. Our online store is also open for your convenience, and we hope that you check it out.

Please follow the Provincial Health Order to help us have a good winter, we hope to see you soon.

Staff and Owners at The Bridge Bistro!

June 24, 2020

Hi all, and Welcome Back!

We are now open. Our opening hours are extended, we are open every day from 9 am – 9 pm.

As per requirement, we have limited seating capacity. Most of our tables are outside. Maximum seating capacity is 6 guests per table (tables seating 6 guests are inside), and our patio has a max capacity of 46 guests at this time.

As we are navigating through the new rules and recommendations, please be patient with us and our staff. We have noticed that the expectations are high as we open up, but we ask you to, please consider all the extra work that has to be done. So many details need to be taken care of by our staff, both in the front and in the back, and that will effect serving times etc. There might be wait times for getting a table, for the server coming to see you, for food to get on your table, for clearing etc, but we promise you, we are doing the very best we can, and this is for your and our safety. We are following the protocols set out by Dr. Bonnie Henry, Worksafe BC and Interior Health.

Be safe and thank you for your support
